Be Ready, River City Ransom: Underground to Be Delisted from Steam Soon
When i heard the news, my heart sank, but, I’ve got some good news too for classic beat ’em up fans: the game River City Ransom: Underground won’t be around on Steam for much longer. You see, It’s a sequel to the classic NES title, but the fun won’t last. They say it’s a good time to grab a piece of gaming history at a lower price.
Why It’s Being Removed
Unfortunately, a Steam Community Hub update made my day rather gloomier, which states the game will be removed from sale due to the expiration of a licensing agreement gone sour. Don’t worry though; even though the delisting process has been set in motion already, you who already own the game can still play it without any interruption. All is still calm on that side.
Grab It Now at a Bargain Price
I found out that now you could pick up River City Ransom: Underground for just three dollars. Yes, It’s going down really fast, not just because it’s a bargain, but also because the game might be delisted before 5th january. Another little surprise I discovered was that all screenshots and trailers were removed from its Steam page, yet the buy option is still available. How strange is that?
But Wait! Enjoy Some Gameplay Highlights
Playing it feels a little like a standard beat ’em up, but much crisper and with longer combos too, very different from the NES original. As for the online multiplayer modes, how this delisting will affect them remains unclear. For those who still want a solid pick, I highly recommend River City Ransom: Underground – especially if you get it alongside other newer releases like Absolum and Marvel Cosmic Invasion. It just goes without saying, if classic beat ’em ups are what you’re into it.
Last Chance to Grab It
Don’t waste any more time, my fellow gamers. If you’re interested in buying River City Ransom: Underground and owning a piece of classic gaming history, grab it now. As of now this is your very last chance.
