How to Find All Terraria Pals: Cattiva, Foxparks, Chillet, and Digtoise

Getting Started: What You Need to Know

Generally, I am starting with basics, first thing you need is a fresh 1.4.5 world cause older saves are kinda stubborn.
Normally, most of us who tried the update a lot, we saw the pals only in new worlds, so just hit generate again.
Obviously, Cattiva and Foxparks won’t show up till you beat the Goblin Army – that’s a rule you can’t skip.
Usually, Chillet and Digtoise hide deep underground, you’ll need to dig far, don’t expect them on the surface.
Sometimes, Patience is a virtue, spawn rates are low, so bring Lifeform Analyzer, Metal Detector, and a Spelunker Potion – they’ll cut the time.
Apparently, Each pal likes its own biome, surface for the first two, caves for the last two, keep that in mind.

How to Find Cattiva

Actually, Cattiva is the easiest of the bunch but you still gotta hunt.
Naturally, After the Goblin Army is down, go out in daylight and wander the forest or jungle edges – that’s where she hangs.
Sometimes, You’ll hear little cries, that’s the sign she’s being held by goblins, usually a Scout or two Archers.
Obviously, Grab your Lifeform Analyzer first, it’ll beep before the goblins notice you, then sprint in and save her.
Generally, Put a Water Candle down or drink a Battle Potion, they boost spawn rates a lot.
Apparently, Avoid rain, it stops goblins from spawning, I learned that the hard way.
Usually, Stay near the map’s outer thirds, Cattiva rarely likes the middle.

How to Find Foxparks

Normally, Foxparks is trickier, I spent hours chasing it.
Generally, Same rule – you need the Goblin Army dead and it shows up in daylight on forest or jungle, often where Cattiva was.
Sometimes, You’ll probably hear its squeals before you see the fiery fox, keep your ears sharp.
Apparently, Water Candles are almost mandatory, I left one blinking in my search spot and waited.
Obviously, Lifeform Analyzer again helps you spot Goblin Scouts before they bolt.
Usually, Sometimes after rescuing Cattiva, Foxparks pops up nearby, but don’t count on that luck.
Actually, When you finally free it, it’ll join you right away.

How to Find Chillet

Generally, Chillet lives down low, you need to dive into the cavern layer.
Apparently, It shows up as an egg on the ground, pick it up and right‑click – boom, a blue or pink Ignis Chillet appears.
Sometimes, People say it’s 50/50 chance, I’ve seen more blues but who knows.
Obviously, Metal Detector is your best friend here, it’ll ping when you’re near the egg.
Normally, Build a spiral staircase or a hellevator, makes moving through the cavern a breeze.
Actually, If you’re blind, a Spelunker Potion will glow the egg, makes it hard to miss.

How to Find Digtoise

Apparently, Digtoise is the rarest, I’ve only seen it once after many worlds.
Generally, You’ll find it in the underground desert, look for a big shell stuck in the sand.
Sometimes, Use a pickaxe to break it free and it becomes yours.
Obviously, Metal Detector again is crucial, without it the shell blends in.
Normally, A Spelunker Potion makes the shell glow, even in the darkest corners.
Actually, Explore different desert sections, dig deeper if needed, don’t give up.

Final Tips for Finding All Pals

Generally, Create a new 1.4.5 world if old saves feel dead, fresh worlds give better odds.
Apparently, Carry Lifeform Analyzer, Metal Detector, and Spelunker Potion everywhere, they save hours.
Sometimes, Be patient, some pals take hours to spawn, especially Foxparks and Digtoise.
Obviously, Don’t forget to trigger the Goblin Army for Cattiva and Foxparks, that’s a must.
Normally, Explore every nook of the underground biomes, a missed cavern could hide Chillet or Digtoise.
Actually, Keep a Water Candle lit during surface hunts, it really pumps up the spawns.

Conclusion

Apparently, Finding all four pals takes prep, patience, and a bit of luck, but it’s totally worth it.
Generally, Follow the guide, use the tools, and you’ll add Cattiva, Foxparks, Chillet, and Digtoise to your crew.
Actually, Happy hunting, and may your Terraria adventures be full of cute companions!
