Deadlock Introduces Celeste, a Lich‑Inspired Carnival Hero
Generally, I Think Celeste Is A Great Addition To The Game. Usually, New Heroes Take Time To Get Used To, But Celeste Felt Like A Natural Fit. Basically, She’s Got A Lot Of Potential For High-Damage Plays.
Who Is Celeste?
Obviously, Celeste Is A Unique Hero With A Lot To Offer. Normally, I’d Be Skeptical Of A New Hero, But Celeste’s Abilities Seem Well-Balanced. Probably, Her Four Stamina Pips Are The Key To Her Success, Allowing For A Lot Of Dodging And Weaving.
Ability Breakdown
Light Eater
Honestly, Light Eater Is A Simple But Effective Ability. Usually, I Use It To Get An Early Advantage In Trades, And It Works Pretty Well. Occasionally, I’ll Use It To Finish Off A Low-Health Enemy.
Dazzling Trick
Sometimes, Dazzling Trick Can Be A Lifesaver. Essentially, It Gives Me A Burst Of Speed And A Chance To Escape From Danger. Normally, I’ll Use It To Get Out Of A Tight Spot, And The Silencing Explosion Is A Nice Bonus.
Radiant Daggers
Generally, Radiant Daggers Is A Great Ability For Trapping Enemies. Usually, I’ll Use It To Stack Spirit Damage And Deal Massive Damage To Enemies Who Get Caught. Obviously, The Longer I Can Trap Them, The More Damage I’ll Deal.
Shining Wonder (Ultimate)
Actually, Shining Wonder Is A Game-Changer. Normally, I’ll Use It To Turn A Messy Fight Into A Controlled Chaos. Probably, The Glowing Orb Will Bounce Around, Dealing Damage And Slowing Enemies, And It’s A Lot Of Fun To Watch.
Playstyle and Strategy
Usually, I’ll Play Celeste As A Hit-And-Run Hero. Essentially, I’ll Use Light Eater To Deal Damage, Then Slip Away With Dazzling Trick. Normally, I’ll Stack Radiant Daggers To Deal Massive Damage, And Time Shining Wonder To Perfection.
Looking Ahead
Currently, All Eyes Are On Apollo, The Next Hero On The Vote List. Probably, He’ll Be A Melee Duelist, Which Will Give The Roster A Nice Contrast To Celeste’s Airy Playstyle. Generally, I’m Excited To See How Apollo Will Fit Into The Game.
Author’s Take
Personally, I’m Harvey Randall, And I’ve Logged Around 2,500 Hours In Dota 2. Usually, I’ll Focus On Improving My Aim And Map Awareness. Occasionally, I’ll Glance At The Minimap To Judge When The Orb Will Hit, And It’s A Lot Of Fun To Play Celeste.
Summary
Basically, Celeste Is A Great Addition To Deadlock, Offering A High-Mobility, Spirit-Damage Kit That Feels Like A Carnival Meets Classic MOBA Magic. Generally, Her Kit Promises Fast-Paced, Thrilling Fights That Keep Both Sides On Their Toes. Usually, I’d Recommend Giving Celeste A Try, Regardless Of Your Skill Level.
