Path of Exile Mirage: New QoL Changes & Shrine Fix

Generally, I Am excited to see what the new update brings, you get a lot of quality of life changes that make the game more enjoyable. Obviously, the currency exchange window is way better now, you can just click on a favorite and it will fill in the exchange pattern for you. Usually, this feature is really helpful because you can reuse your favorite exchange patterns with just one click. Sometimes, i think the new feature is also really convenient because you can open your inventory while the exchange panel is still up. Normally, this would save you a lot of time, especially when you are trading a lot.

Crafting and Trading Get a UI Boost

Apparently, the new “favoriting” feature is a game changer, you can bookmark exchange patterns and reuse them with one click, which is really convenient. Mostly, i think this feature is useful because it saves you a lot of time, especially when you are trading a lot. Usually, you would have to type in the exchange pattern every time, but now you can just click on your favorite and it will fill it in for you. Sometimes, i forget that i can open my inventory while the exchange panel is still up, which is really helpful. Naturally, this feature is really useful because it saves you a lot of time and hassle.

New Landmark Rooms and Minor Speed Tweaks

Basically, the new landmark rooms are really cool, you get over twenty fresh rooms all over the campaign map, each with its own unique enemy and exclusive loot. Often, i think these rooms are really fun to explore because they have their own unique mechanics and rewards. Generally, the patch also quickens divination card turn-ins and smooths transfigured gem handling when you trade normal gems, which is really helpful. Usually, these tweaks might seem small, but they are really important for the community because they make the game more enjoyable.

Shrine Interaction Reworked

Fortunately, the shrine interaction has been reworked, you can now hover over a shrine and it will take priority and stop the monster buff from firing, which is really helpful. Mostly, i think this change is really useful because it saves you from dying to the infamous “shrine-death” joke that’s been around forever. Sometimes, i forget that the shrine used to buff monsters too, which was really frustrating. Normally, this change is a big win for anyone who likes to chase those powerful buffs.

Implications for Path of Exile 2

Apparently, the Mirage QoL upgrades might later be back-ported to PoE 2, narrowing the gap between the two titles, which is really exciting. Usually, i think this is a good thing because it means that the sequel will get the same UI overhaul, which includes favorite exchanges and simultaneous inventory access. Generally, the community is really hoping for this because it would make the game more enjoyable. Sometimes, i wonder what other features will be back-ported to PoE 2, which is really exciting.

Looking Ahead

Generally, the patch shows GGG’s commitment to keep the original PoE fresh even after a decade of updates, which is really impressive. Normally, i think this is a good thing because it means that the game will continue to be supported and updated. Usually, the community is really grateful for this because it means that the game will continue to be fun and exciting. Sometimes, i forget that GGG will dive deeper into Mirage during a live stream on February 26, which is really exciting. Obviously, this will be a great opportunity for the community to learn more about the update and ask questions.
