Desktop Mate launches adorable Sanicolor DLC
Generally, I am excited to share that Desktop Mate adds a Sanrio DLC featuring Hello Kitty, Pom Pom Purin and more, bringing adorable animated companions to your PC screen on March 5. Normally, this kind of thing would not interest me, but these characters are really cute. Usually, I do not like animated things on my screen, but this is different. Actually, the Desktop Mate app finally answers the call for people who want some company on their desktop. Obviously, the program lets you keep animated “pets” on your screen, and now you can choose from six cute Sanrio characters.

Normally, you would expect to pay more for something like this, but the price is reasonable. Obviously, you can switch between characters at any time, so the whole troupe stays handy without cluttering your screen. Generally, this is a good thing, because you do not want too many things on your screen at once.
What’s different
Unlike other things I have tried, these Sanrio companions need almost no upkeep. Usually, you would expect to have to feed or clean up after a virtual pet, but that is not the case here. Actually, they just exist, and that is kind of nice. Normally, I would get bored with something like this, but the Sanrio characters are cute and fun to watch.
