Apple’s iPad 12 Still Unannounced Amid March Product Rollout

Generally, I think apple had a pretty cool event on march 2. Obviously, they showed off alot of new stuff, like the iphone 17e, and the ipad air got a nice update. Normally, i would expect the macbook lineup to get some updates too, and thats exactly what happened, including a new “macbook neo” that runs on the A18 pro chip, which is pretty fast.
Obviously, the studio display line also got a boost with a new XDR model, which is really nice. Usually, i feel like these events are pretty predictable, but this one had some surprises, like the new macbook neo, but the entry-level ipad was nowhere to be seen, which was kinda weird.

What Apple Showed on March 2

Normally, apple shows off all their new products at these events, but this time they didnt show the ipad 12, which is pretty strange. Probably, the reason they didnt show it is because they are saving it for later, maybe to release it with some new silicon or something. Usually, apple likes to release their new ipads in the spring, so maybe they are just waiting for the right time.
Obviously, the event was still pretty cool, with alot of new products and updates, but it felt like something was missing, like the ipad 12.

Why the iPad 12 Is Missing

Generally, analysts think that apple wont be releasing any more new hardware this week, so the ipad 12 is probably just being saved for later. Normally, apple likes to release their new ipads with some new features and updates, so maybe they are just waiting for the right time. Probably, the ipad 12 will have some new features, like a faster processor, and maybe some new AI stuff, which would be really cool.
Obviously, we dont know for sure when the ipad 12 will be released, but it will probably be soon, maybe in the summer or fall.

What We Expect From the iPad 12

Design & Pricing

Usually, when apple releases a new ipad, the design stays the same, with a few minor updates, like a new color, or something. Normally, the new ipad will have the same 10.9-inch liquid retina screen, and the same flat edges, and thin bezels, which is really nice. Probably, the pricing will be the same as the current ipad, around $349, which is pretty affordable, and competitive with other tablets.
Obviously, we dont know for sure what the design and pricing will be, but it will probably be similar to the current ipad.
