Batman: Arkham Origins Gets Remaster-Like Visual Upgrade

Stunning Visual Revival

I installed the Arkham Origins Advanced Graphics mod 2.0 on my computer to see the changes. You will notice that it looks like a totally new game because the lighting is better. The fan team worked very hard to fix the snow and the shadows for everyone. My eyes saw the textures right away and it feels like a real remaster now.

Snow Effects Got Bigger

I remember the old winter vibe felt fake but these new particles are very huge. You can watch the snow actually move when Batman walks through the streets. The city looks very icy and I think the cold air feels more real than before. Your gameplay will improve because the whole environment looks much more alive.

Textures Jumped Up A Level

This mod uses assets from the Arkham Knight game to make everything look better. I saw the Batman suit looks very crisp and it is no longer locked to the multiplayer mode. You should check out the cape since it is smoother and it has a shiny look. High-res models now populate the Gotham skyline and they look great.

Shadows And Reflections Are Cleaner

I used to hate how the shadows looked like weird haircuts on the bad guys. Now you get sharp edges and very deep depth in every corner of the map. The reflections on puddles look like real water and it makes me happy to see. Your game will have a glossy feel that was missing in the original version.

Cutscene Limits Remain

I found that the cutscenes are still stuck at a 720p resolution for now. Modders cannot fix the .usm files yet so you have to wait for a new update. My hope is that a fix comes later because the rest of the game looks so good. It is a small problem but most of the visual upgrade is perfect.

Easy Installation Steps

Go to Nexus Mods and download the file right now to start the process. I suggest you extract the files and drop them into your main game folder. You must have at least one DLC installed for the mod to work correctly on your PC. If you skip the DLC part the config will break and the game won’t start.

I think this project shows how much fans still love this Batman game after all these years. You will find that a simple graphics tweak turned into a total visual rebirth. The city of Gotham feels fresh for me even though I played the story many times. Every player should try this mod because it makes the game better.
