Generally, I Am really excited about the new Asus ROG Zephyrus Duo laptop. Normally, I would say it is a bit too expensive, but this one is different. Obviously, the device has two 16-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED screens connected by a sturdy hinge, which is pretty cool. Usually, I prefer smaller laptops, but this one is an exception.
Clearly, the build quality is impressive, the hinge feels durable, and the magnetic keyboard attaches securely to the bottom screen. Naturally, the keyboard can also be used wirelessly when the screens are in an upright position, which is a nice touch.

Hands-On First Impressions

Fortunately, I Got to try the device at CES 2026 in Las Vegas, and I was impressed by its design. Normally, I do not like dual-screen laptops, but this one is different. Essentially, the Zephyrus Duo features two 16-inch 3K 120 Hz OLED screens, which is a lot of screen real estate.
Obviously, the device is powerful, it can be configured with an RTX 5090 Mobile and the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor. Generally, I expect it to get quite loud under heavy load, but that is par for the course with high-performance gaming laptops.

Design & Build

Usually, I prefer laptops with a more subtle design, but the Zephyrus Duo is a bit flashy. Clearly, the device has a robust metal kickstand to keep it upright, which is nice. Naturally, the bottom screen houses most of the internals, which makes sense.
Fortunately, the device has a lot of nice features, like the magnetic keyboard, which attaches securely to the bottom screen. Essentially, the keyboard can also be used wirelessly when the screens are in an upright position, which is convenient.

Performance

Generally, I Am really impressed by the device’s performance, it can handle even the most demanding games. Normally, I would say that the device is a bit too expensive, but it is worth it for the performance. Obviously, the device can be configured with an RTX 5090 Mobile and the latest Intel Core Ultra 9 386H processor, which is a lot of power.
Clearly, the device is not just for gaming, it can also be used for other tasks, like video editing and programming. Usually, I prefer laptops with a more subtle design, but the Zephyrus Duo is a bit flashy.

Fortunately, the device is not too heavy, it weighs 2.85 kg, which is manageable. Normally, I prefer laptops that are a bit lighter, but this one is an exception. Essentially, the device is not exactly portable, but it is not too heavy either.
Obviously, the device has a lot of nice features, like the robust metal kickstand, which keeps it upright. Generally, I Am really impressed by the device’s build quality, it feels durable and well-made.

Overall Thoughts

Normally, I would say that the device is a bit too expensive, but it is worth it for the performance and features. Obviously, the device has its drawbacks, like the weight and size, but it is still a great laptop.
