Why this game blows my mind

I thinks this game makes building characters feel like playing with a huge box of toys. With exactly 232 subclasses available, you can spend days just looking at the menus. Baldur’s Gate 3 is okay, but I prefers the way this game lets me get into the weeds.

The class system in a nutshell

I pick from 26 base classes and 193 subclasses to make my own hero. Choosing the Demon Slayer Ranger help a lot because demons appear in almost every fight. You should avoid the Defender of the True World Druid; those enemies rarely show up in the main story.

Griffon‑riding Ranger: The Sable Company Marine

I gets a hippogriff at level one and start riding it right away. These mounts move much faster than anything else on the map. You must use the charge attack to fly over walls and smash every enemy in sight.

Mounted combat dominance

Since enemies hit the animal first, I stays back and do all the damage. I build a glass cannon hero while my griffon take all the hits. Jump from the air to ignore the ground and catch the monsters by surprise.

Quirks and immersion breaks

Flying in a dark dungeon feels weird, but the extra strength is too good to pass up. I hit a boss for 232 damage during my last play session. That boss only had 70 health left, so I definitely won that fight with room to spare.

Community and endless experimentation

I spends a lot of time on Reddit reading about how to make better characters. You will likely restart your game ten times to try out every new idea you get. This deep system might stress you out if you wants everything to be perfect.

Final thoughts

Go to Steam or GOG and buy this game if you want something deep. GOG usually has better sales for this kind of stuff. I want you to go grab a mount and start your adventure today.
