Samson: A Compact Crime Game Alternative to GTA

Samson Aims to Be a Compact Crime Game Alternative to GTA

Why I’m excited about Samson

I believe you will love Samson because it is a very fast game to play. Christofer Sundberg made this project after he spent years working on the famous Just Cause series. You get a smaller world which means you finish the main story much quicker than other titles. I think this type of short crime game is exactly what your busy life needs right now.

The Vision Behind the Game

I read that big Rockstar games are like a new phone release every time they come out. You should see how much Sundberg likes their big worlds even though he is making something smaller. The developer say that his game is for the moments when you want a break from the huge world of GTA. Your schedule will benefit from a game that does not take a hundred hours to finish. I think you should try and find games that respect your free time.

Inspiration and Style

You will feel like you are inside intense movies like Ronin or Die Hard. The gritty look of the game remind me of an old title called Condemned. I love how the action stays on the street and avoids those huge and fake explosions. Every one of the fights look very messy and real for you when you play. You can expect a tight story that stays focused on the crime.

Development Journey

Liquid Swords had to let go of half their staff in the year 2025 which was a big change. I know that this bad news actually made the game tighter and more interesting. You find a better experience when the team focuses on one small thing instead of a big mess. The teams hard work really shines in the newest videos they released. I feel that a smaller group of people creates more unique art.

Release Details

You can buy your copy on April 8 for only twenty five dollars. I think this price is perfect for a short crime brawler that you can enjoy in a weekend. Less people will have trouble running this on their old computers because the scale is smaller. This game acts as a great break between those huge and long epics. I am ready to play it as soon as the digital shop opens for us.
