I saw the Unitree R1 last year and the price of $4,900 are very low for a robot.

Check out how it stands 1.2 meters tall and it feels light in your hands when you lift it.

I watched it use 26 joints to kick and each of them move smoothly when it stands up after a fall.

My eyes saw the computer inside listen to your voice and look at your pictures to react.

People in China can buy it now but I read that AliExpress will sell it to you soon.

I don’t know the US price yet though I expect it to stay low for places like Japan and Singapore.

Between you and I, this robot will change how developers and hobbyists work in the US.

I believe labs and small companies will buy this to test their new AI code.

This robot won’t finish your house chores just yet because it is for learning.

I see this tool as a playground for your smart software projects.

I feel this launch is a huge win for making robots easy for you to get.

You can dream up new ways to use robots without being rich.

None of these robots have reached our homes yet but I hope the R1 brings many more soon.
