Virtualitics Appoints Salesforce Exec Dave Rey to Board
Why This Matters
Generally, we are pretty excited to announce Dave Rey is joining Virtualitics’ Board of Directors, a move that’s set to turbocharge our AI-driven decision intelligence for governments and critical infrastructure. Normally, his two-decades of SaaS sales experience in the public sector is exactly what we need right now, and i think it will make a big difference.
Dave Rey’s Background
Obviously, Rey currently leads sales for the Global Public Sector at Salesforce, guiding worldwide partnerships that help agencies run smoother, and he is very good at it. Previously, he spent 17 years at Oracle, where he was Group Vice President overseeing federal software, and before that he worked at Falcon Microsystems, Booz Allen & Hamilton, and even the NSA within the DoD, which is a pretty impressive background. Usually, he’s known for building high-performing teams and striking strategic alliances that push growth up fast, and i believe he will do the same here.
What Virtualitics Does
Rey’s Vision for the BoardApparently, Rey says the biggest challenge for public agencies is converting massive data into intel leaders can trust instantly, and i think he is right. Hopefully, he’s excited to bring his expertise to a board that’s already proving impact across critical missions, and we are excited to have him on board. Normally, Michael Amori, our CEO, believes Rey’s global authority on large-scale software deployments will guide us through a period of hyper-growth as we expand our decision-intelligence portfolio, and i agree with him.
