WoW Players Exploit Bugs to Kill L’ura Early—Blizzard Blocks Victory
The Bold Attempt
I saw some WoW players try to break the game rules by attacking L’ura early. You need to understand how they targeted a boss with 149 million health near that void Sunwell. The raid was not suppose to start for another week but they went anyway.
Dodging the Deadly DoT
Lethal clouds hit for forty percent damage every second which usually stops everyone. I watched them find out that dying outside makes the debuff much weaker because of resurrection sickness. Your character can live for several minutes if you use this specific trick. It really feel like a huge oversight by the developers.
Finding Damage
Standard spells did not work because the health regenerated too fast for a normal group. You should look at the Monk class because their abilities are currently broken against low level mobs. These guys summoned small rats and then hit them really hard. The game engine then pushed all that huge damage onto the boss through a glitch.
The Raid Attempt
I counted as the team brought out damage reduction toys on a Saturday afternoon. One single rat explosion took out half of the health bar instantly. You would think the second hit would finish the job. The boss just stand there even though the health were gone.
Blizzard’s Failsafe
Blizzard actually programmed the boss to never die before the raid launch date. Your clever plans do not matter when the code say no. I think the developers knew someone would try this. The health bar stayed full because a hidden shield blocked everything.
Aftermath and Side Wins
You can still use this rat trick to destroy bosses in Mythic plus dungeons right now. The players went into PvP and killed enemies with one single punch. Rextroy and his friends did not get the kill but they showed us how the game work. I guess you win some and you lose some in Azeroth.
