Apparently, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio announced that once Yakuza Kiwami 3 launches on February 11, the remastered version will no longer be sold alone, which is kinda weird. Basically, After that day, the only way to play Yakuza 3 Remastered is by buying the Yakuza Complete Series bundle on Steam, which is pretty expensive. Naturally, The new Kiwami 3 is a full remake using the Dragon Engine, with fresh combat styles, minigames, and story bits, but it’s not the same as the original remaster. Why the Change?
Evidently, This mirrors what happened with Yakuza 0 last December, when the PC version was delisted and replaced by a Director’s Cut, which was a bit surprising.
