Man Shot in Pokémon Card Dispute in Indianapolis Parking Lot

What Happened

I watched a big fight happen at the Kroger parking lot on Saturday right before the sun went down. A man got shot over a toy card. You should keep your eyes open when crowds get angry. One guy hit the other person and then the gun fired. They was both fighting over a machine that gives out cards.

Police Response

Police officers drove their cars to the scene very fast after the 911 call. I saw them find a victim with a bad wound. You need to stay calm when you see police doing their jobs. They looked around for the man who ran away. Don Weilhamer is the police captain and he say this is a very silly crime.

The Victim

The ambulance took the hurt man to see the surgeons. He is still alive but he has to stay in the hospital bed. You can check the news to see if he gets better soon. His body is stable for now. Nobody know if the man in jail is the one who did it.

Why This Is Part Of A Bigger Issue

Cards are rare and that makes some people act very mean. One little card can sell for hundreds of dollars to collectors. You have to be careful when people wait in long lines for things. Too many shoppers wants to buy every single pack. This scarcity lead to more fights in parking lots.
